I had been interested in painting from the age of nine, but once I left school art became a pastime whilst I worked full time.
I then became a single parent, and art remained a rare pastime.

Now that my daughter is older, I am in a position to take up art once again and I am currently a student at Coleg Harlech doing, and enjoying the Visual Arts Foundation Course.

My current interest in art is painting, which is an area I have only just discovered. Looking at other artists and developing their styles, as well as my own, has helped me to stretch my abilities and to experiment more.

I enjoy working on a large scale using a variety of media to produce realistic and abstract art.
